Balsam “Polesye” – The product of the year-2008

On the 21 of January in 2009 there were announced the results of the XI Republican contest of consumption requirements “The product of the Year”.

Balsam “Polesye”, produced by Gomel Distillery was the winner in the  XI Republican contest of consumption requirements  in the category “Balsam” and was awarded the third degree diploma.

This reward gives the right to place the trade mark “The Product of the year-2008” on the product packing and advertising.

The Republican contest of consumption requirements “The Product of the year” was established in 1998 and it is the first professional and independent project that  researched  consumption requirements and promotion of food stuffs.

Balsam”Polesye” has been produced since 2006. Over the past period of time it  picked up many rewards on prestigious international and republican trade fairs and contests. In 2007 there were taken three gold medals  at such  trade fairs as “ProdExpo” (Moscow), “ExpoForum” (Minsk), “Wine-Vodka” (Sochi); the silver medal  - at the international trade fairs “United Vodka” (Brussel), the silver certification mark at the “Quality Token Russian Mark III Millennium. XXI Century Quality Token.” Besides it picked up two Grand Prix at “DrinExpo” (St. Petersburg) and “Riga Food” (Riga). Balsam has been recognized to be one of the best  products of the Republic of Belarus since 2007. In 2008 the drink was awarded  the gold medal at the “Wine-Vodka” trade fair (Sochi), the silver one at the “Armprodexpo” trade fair (Erevan) and the bronze one at the “ProdExpo” (Moscow).
